Eisenhower Funeral Train
We journalists waited for the funeral train at a station in
Kentucky. We almost missed it because there were no funeral decorations. The
train had traveled from Washington DC in the dark, without decoration. We all
rushed to the underground of the Cincinnati Union Station where they added
funeral bunting. The underground lighting and dark clothes matched the mood.
